Cancellation Policy

Cancellation Policy applies to Sailing Packages and Sailing Courses. For shipping items like caps or T-Shirts please check our Return Policy.

Disclaimer

Miro Sailing Academy d.o.o. is working close together with third-party hotels and campsites. Our Cancellation Policy follows our partners cancellation policies.

Date Changes

If you would like to change dates, DO NOT CANCEL YOUR RESERVATION. Please contact us, we will try to find a solution for your new dates. If the newly selected package costs more, the difference should be paid. Depending on the season a 0-100 EUR rebooking fee may apply.

Cancelling Reservations

Reservations may be cancelled by sending an e-mail from the email address given at the purchase to shopify@miro-sailing.com including the order ID. Miro Sailing Academy will always confirm the reception of such mail. The confirmation will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If no such confirmation received within 24 hours, please double check your mailbox including the spam folders. If you cannot find our confirmation mail, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Refunding Cancelled Reservations

Applicable taxes, fees, expenses already paid will not be refunded.

Refunds (if applicable)

Once your refund is approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at shopify@miro-sailing.com.

Early-bird and Last-Minute Reservations

Only regular priced items (Sales less than 10% discount from the list price) may be refunded, unfortunately last-minute reservations and special early-bird reservations cannot be refunded.

Other Conditions

Cleaning fees are always refunded if the guest did not check in.

If the reservation was including Croatian tourist tax, it will be always refunded if the guest did not check in.

A reservation is officially canceled when the guest sends and e-mail to shopify@miro-sailing.com and Miro Sailing Academy d.o.o. confirms the reception of such mail.

Cancellation Policy may be may be superseded by safety cancellations, or extenuating circumstances.

Applicable taxes will be retained and remitted.
